    Hi!
I am a senior at Texas State University. We are doing a project in one of my classes on the Prius. I would really appreciate it if I could talk to some Prius owners.

    Thanks!!

I need to interview an owner on Skype/iChat for approximately 30 minutes on why they bought the Prius and hwo the recall is affecting them.

    Hi kat...,

You are aware that the Prius is not part of the main gas pedal recalls by Toyota, Right ??????

Maybe you should go find a web site like AvalonChat, or TundraChat - these vehicles have the most reports of sudden unintended acceleration.

The recall isn't the main thing we're concerned about, we're just looking to get people's reactions to the recall in general.

My prius, an 04, did not have the all weather floor mats that were involved in the recall, so I was indifferent, basically felt the action (recall for floor mats) was an over reaction to isolated incidents.

There are many threads about this several weeks ago you may want to just search for.

I wish I could just do that but my professor requires us to have video of an interview.

I brought my Prius because I correctly predicted that fuel costs were going to rocket in the UK. With the lower annual car tax for Hybrids £15 per year verses £190 on my old Corrola its a non brainer.

I was looking for my model during February when the recalls were first announced. Did it bother me or put me off? No. Recalls happen. Toyota are reliable cars. They don't suddenly stop being reliable.
