    Hi Ladies and Gents,

I am hoping you can help me.

I have just had my engine replaced on my 2010 Prius UK spec. I also had my exhaust silencer replaced as this was causing a clunking noise when reversing and my wheel hub / bearing replaced.

However, I am suffering with a issue. I get a scraping grinding noise at 60+, anything less than this the sound doesn't come, and nor in neutral only at high speed after 60/70.

Can anyone help? I have a feeling its something to do with the wheel hub? However it sound like its coming from the top right of the engine if your sat in the driving seat.

I have a video of the sound which i tried attaching but it wouldnt let me :(

    Thank you all in advance.

    welcome!
i can't think of anything in the drive train. first suspect would be the new wheel hub i suppose. noise location can be difficult
also, click the report button on your post and ask mods if they'll let you ad the recording.

Since the hub(s) was(were) replaced, I would suspect the brake dust shield.
It could be bent just enough that anything less than 60mph isn't enough wind force
to move it over to tough the rim, or the brake disk.
You should take it back and let them be aware of it. Maybe something is loose, or there is a bad hub bearing.
