Scratch repair for the rear window divider

    There is a scratch on the top outside of the plastic rear window divider. I don't know if it was vandalism or some flying road debris. I know how we all love the divider, however this is not nice on a car with less than 1000 miles :(

    Suggestions on how to repair/remove the scratch would be appreciated.

    Black touch up paint. I'm not home but Toyota Black 202 sticks in my mind.

    I don't believe its a painted surface. Paint might so some good but there is damage to the surface.

    Is the scratch black or white? If it is white the touch up paint works. If it's black it should be able to be buffed out.

    Its on the black plastic. I'm going to try the kit suggested by css28.

    I recommend reading the reviews for the Amazon listing. Some suggest wet sanding with very fine sandpaper for preparation.
    You can probably find the kit (or it's individual products) locally at an autozone or such.
