My 2016 Prius does this quite often. Anyone else having this issue? It’s done this as long as I’ve had the car.
Go to the Toyota web site and see if there's an updated codec for your infotainment system or ask them to update it on your next service interval.
I did have a software update and the only thing I noticed was that I can dial a phone number while driving. Previously it would say the vehicle had to be stopped. Screen still blinks but not the end of the world I guess.
