The outlet in my garage is half way up the wall. What is the best way to secure the charger while plugged in, but not permanently? Heavy duty Velcro?

Some have made a simple wire hanger using the two holes on the charger and then hang the charger by that wire via nail, or picture hanger so there is no weight on the outlet it's plugged into. Easy to unplug and take it with you.

i tried the velcro without much success, and wound up with a hook and small bungee.

Hook and wire. Switch controls only the outlet that charger is always plugged into

Here's what I did. I used a couple long nails with small heads (smaller than the holes on the charger). So while the charger is held in place by gravity, if you want to you can just pull it away from the wall (or, in my case, a post in the middle of my garage).

If the charger plug in question is like the picture in post #4........
Then you should NOT have to worry about it.

If the plug feels loose in the outlet, you NEED a new outlet because it might not be making a good connection.
