Seeking a scrappy mechanic in St. Louis, Missouri

    Although it is my Prius that needs a muffler weld repair for a safety inspection, the main reason I'm asking here on Priuschat is that I trust y'all's recommendations (over even those of Click'n'Clack's listeners.) So, got a scrappy St. Louis mechanic who handles issues like this one by fixing them instead of charging to install a needlessly new part?

    Hey! Any chance you found a good mechanic here is St. Louis?

    I'm also here and went to a Toyota Dealership for the diagnostic but the repair estimates are insanely priced.
