Seeking updated info for 2" trailer hitches (for 2011 Prius)

    Having wandered around the forum for a while, I haven't found any recent advice on trailer hitches.

    I plan to carry two bikes on my 2011 Prius. The better quality bike racks I've identified have 2" tongues rather than 1 1/4" tongues, so that would be preferred. I checked the Curt site and their only offering for the Prius is for 1 1/4" and out of stock.

    So: what do you recommend for a 2011 Prius compatible hitch with a 2" receiver?

    A guy in Australia did that with a Subaru hitch that replaced the rear bumper. It looks more solid, hitches higher up and you cut a square out of your bumper cover to do that:
