Self Tire Rotation Kinda Rusty

    I lube wheel studs and I have seen a torque wrench used in a tyre shop as a matter of course. I have also seen torque limiting extensions used on pneumatic nut runners to prevent over tightening. Personally I don't use a torque wrench on wheel nuts but I would never mock a person who did. I guess you could get away with not using a torque wrench on head bolts too, I wouldn't try it though.

    I use molybdenum disulfide grease on wheel studs, hub centre bosses and spark plug threads.

    Hey thanks, Pat, for the tip on the moly grease. That sounds even better than the graphite.
