Selling Graham Mini Scanner

More inventory clearance, I'm putting one of my Graham miniscanners up for auction on Ebay, Dec. 1, for 10 days. Shipping is included which is why it has a minimum price of $15. Note, the backlight for night operation went out about a year or so ago but it works perfectly fine in daylight and/or using the RS-232 interface to stream the data.

Ok, a few more details. I will configure the Grahm miniscannner for whatever any winning PriusChat winner wants. If not otherwise requested, it will have:

• engine rpm - an important driving metric for efficient driving (S7-1)
• MG1 torque - divided by 28% gives the engine torque in Nm (S7-2)
• mass flow - divided by 14.7 gives the fuel consumption per second ... if you know what BSFC means ... (S1-1)
• engine temp - used to identify warm-up stage (S1-2)
• MG1 temp - used to test transaxle health (S2-1)
• MG2 temp - test transaxle heallth, engine temp > MG1 temp > MG2 temp (S2-2)
• low pair voltage - test traction battery (S3-1)
• high pair voltage - test traction batttery (S3-2) < low pair voltage + 0.3 V
• low pair index - which one(s) is weakest (S4-1)
• high pair index - the good ones (S4-2)
• batt temp 1 - 1 of 4 (S5-1)
• batt temp 2 - 2 of 4 (S5-2)
• batt temp 3 - 3 of 4 (S6-1) used to measure traction battery health or severity
• traction current (S6-2) - how to climb hills and not heat-pump the traction battery

Now there are a boatload of other useful metrics but I'm sellin' it with the best of the 50 some odd metrics. It will be configured to write to the RS-232 interface the maximum, six metrics, if you'd like another set of eyes to look at the data. But as I've pointed out before, the backlight no longer works so it can be read during the day or record the data to a laptop for more detailed analysis.

FYI, I fell into RJ-11 cable to make a serial cable for my miniscanner-to-iPad but I only need one half. If you'll let me know the type of serial connector (9-pin PC or 6-pin Apple) and length, I'll be happy to make and test a second one.
