I voted to keep him.
If MS discusts you simply scroll past his posts.
I like all viewpoints. I don' feel threatned that my world will change for the worse.
MS likes to shock. I'm OK with that.
If the thread is going in a way that doesn't interest me, I move on to another and come back later.
If I like a thread and one poster is trying to drive home a point that doesn't interest me I just scroll down.

every who has posted has said no... and he is still losing. this does not cast PriusChat in a good light. if need be, i would start a Poll to bring squid back. that would be a TRUE no brainer

Anyway, get the word out and rock the vote or something, I don't want to have to vote in a bring back squid poll, and then a bring back squid appeal poll. And then a pardon squid after a week poll....

 

More like the squid changed it after the poll really got going. I could have sworn I originally read your version. But when I went back to check, the "not" was missing. I'm sure he knows how long he can wait to edit a post before the "edited by" is posted.

Personally, I don't think he can go a week without posting. Seeing as his exile would be self-imposed there wouldn't be any reason in his mind not to come back early.

I don't think he could last 6 days, let alone 6 months.

You have twice as many posts.

And you've just stated you have no intention of abiding by your original post. You're losing by a 3-2 margin but that's not large enough. So you're extending your deadline. And I'm sure if you're still losing you'll have an excuse to ignore the poll completely. I'm sure you have a personal justification for it. To me it just smacks of lack of integrity and a weak character. If you had no intention of following the rules *you* set for yourself in your original post, then you shouldn't have bothered with the poll in the first place.

 

there is no time limit. you may go back and edit any post you have made at any time. the "edit by" designation is your choice. it is not required

 

I guess Godiva is saying that if you do anything twice as much as she does, then you are addicted. I don't quite follow her logic. But if she is saying you are addicted to Fred's . . . she may have a point. :lol:

Big surprise. Squid had no intention of honoring his big idea and deceptively edited his post after the fact. Of course he didn't edit the post title, "Send the Squid into Exile Poll!, Here's YOUR Chance to remove Squid!" or "Should Squid Be Sent into Exile for 6 MONTHS"

Squid seemed to be having almost a PMS week there when he just could not find enough "controversial" stuff to post about.

It is always fun and spirited when he is in a discussion though there does seem to be a tendency for the topic to become egocentric at times.

And there is no drivel on this site....tom foolery, shinanagans and the like but NO DRIVEL! (and a few capitals!)

 

I voted no!! Squid is the "man" - a voice of reason amongst the confused and ignorant.
