Got exactly the same as you, not slippery at all, really easy to clean , good investment to protect the floor ...

I think the huge round things are just there to keep me from ripping the floor mats with my club feet around the twisty, locky things. So far so good after 1 drive to the farmer's market. I've gotten a chance to test the the slickness in the rain yesterday. No problems!!!

I mostly got the Weather Tech's for my gf's side of the car. Since we live in the redwoods, my gf's rain boots drag all kinds of crap(leaves, redwood needles, mud) into the car and the Toyota rubber floor mats aren't a good fit like the Weather Techs.

My Precioussssssss...errrrr I mean...my Prius all clean and shiny. Fresh from a hand wash.

This is hard to keep clean this time of year around here. With all the redwoods and acacias blooming and putting out tons of yellow pollen, my Prius can have a yellow hue in a day or two. Then another day after the yellow appears, the pollen turns brown/tan in the sun. It's a no win situation, no matter what I do. o_O

In post #266, I noticed the HID low beams looked a little scattered and lacking the normal intensity I have come to expect with HID lights. After replacing the bulbs. I went ahead and replaced the 6 year old ballasts.

    6 year old ballast:

    New ballast:

I do notice a more focused light pattern with the new ballast, or so I keep telling myself. I refuse to accept my vision is diminishing as I age.

The difference in the images could also be the wall I used for both images. The wall material is a rough hewn, brown/tan cinder block, not the best to make comparisons against, but oh well. The main difference in the images, was the 6 year old ballast image(upper) was taken on a cloudy night, in a light rain. The new ballast image(lower), was taken on a clear night, with a bright moon in the sky. I may have been closer or farther away. I didn't measure the distance either time. Just my best guestimate.:p

Well my Prius (mis)adventure has come to an end and another (mis)adventure begins with the purchase of a Lexus UX250h. I'm going to miss my Prius since I put a lot of work into making it unique.

My new ride in its original configuration...:D

I snuck some interior LED's out of my Prius that are incompatible with the Lexus(different connection).

The journey has already begun with the removal of the roof racks(too much wind noise) and an appointment tomorrow for window tint and a front window visor strip application.

They are a JDM part(Eyebrow Garnish), a friend picked up in Japan on his travels in SE Asia.

I might have to take a better pic of the visor strip, since it doesn't show in the shade...

Something else I borrowed from my Prius. Some WeatherTech drink holders. SHAMWOW, they fit like a glove...

My luck, there aren't many accessories available for this model yet.

My inner psychic sees a set of 20" wheels and tires sometime in my future. May I should wait until I put a few 1000 miles on the car. :ROFLMAO:
