    $8 a day is expensive for a 2 mile one way trip. Would you consider a bike? Or an electric motorcycle?

    I think you'll be happy with a Prius - but by the time the engine warms up, you'll be at your destination which means you'll likely be running off ICE the majority of your trips.

    I just remembered that I'm posting this on a site read by many who may not understand French. I couldn't resist saying a few words in the mother tongue:
    I wrote that I was from Paris and have been living in the US since 1948 and that I was pleased to meet a fellow Frenchman on Prius Chat.
