Thanks for the additional info Jessie! Glad you were able to finally fix the problem.

Inexpensive USB endoscope finally arrived from China, and yes, that engine mount appears to be damaged, will research how to replace and update if that's the fix

 

I've got it, a loud hard thunking from up front, but only on starting up in the garage, or when the ICE starts up again after shutting down. It is intermittent, occurring only some of the time.

I've read about motor mount issues here, but mine are occurring now, and it is now warm here in upstate NY.

 

Perhaps get one of those USB cameras and take a look at it like I did?
