Roof racks, trailer hitches... lets see them naked or with your gear on them!

I'm piecing together a Yakima system for my Prius and just wanted to see the different setups for bikes, storage, and kayaks.

From a thread I started on the Thule Raceway racks, I ended up with the Raceway Platform.

We have a Yakima 4-bike rack that we purchased for the Rav 4. Works well on the Prius:

Wow, that load looks scary wide.

I'd be afraid of clipping something, especially on the left side carrying that.

Actually the camera shot makes it look that way. Kind of like a fisherman who holds the fish way out in front of him to make it look bigger!

I see a basic code violation here, the Power Panel NEEDS to be covered!
    Safety First!
    Nice mini network backup system.
Ours takes up a whole room, and will run the entire plant for about 20 minutes.
The generators had better damn well kick in and stabilize before the batteries run out!

Those 2 marine batteries will run those PC's for 24 hours. When you need a long term UPS it is way cheaper to build your own. The more batteries I put in parallel the longer it will last.

View attachment 39155 DSC00136 (2).jpg DSC00137 (3)-crop.jpg Here's my SportRack EZ2 Premium(same as the Thule brand) with curt hitch. Rack comes with integrated racheting lock and screw type hitch pin with integrated lock . Weighs only 26 lbs with 90 lbs max loading capacity. Not the best rack but does the rest extremely well in holding the bikes and securing them all.
