So you had a usb charger plugged into the car electrical system and that affected the shut down process?

Could there be a second fob, forgotten/left in the car??

    Not fob a problem.

THERE was a TYPE C cub external battery hooked into aux.
Type c can output as well input voltage. This applied voltage to aux circuit. This caused the car to continue to look for the Fab when user tried to shut off car.
Having the second fob in the car would not cause this condition.

    Didn't forget it.

Didn't know it would be applying voltage to shutdown circuit.

This would be unique to type C USB since they do both input and output.

Didn't forget it. I meant to have it plugged in to try to charge it. When car was on.

Didn't know it would be applying voltage to shutdown circuit.

    So that was the culprit?

Notice light on Fab in car will not lock doors when external battery is not pluged into system and will lock doors when not plugged into system

Great demo video. A lot of people say instead of tapping into a constant 12v source to keep a phone charged while engine off, plug in a usb battery/charger into the car and leave it plug in at all times. It will charge the battery as engine is on and charge the phone when engine is off. I chuckle when people reply to me why don’t I recommend doing that heh.

Well this was a surprise becouse I didn't think voltage would go reverse direction with an aux to USB device.

I was only figuring it would only charge pack during car aux on.

    Ah learn something everyday.

Leaving a type c phone plugged in during shutdown would drain the phone.

I don't think USB mini, micro, and apple would create such situation. Becouse as to my knowledge USB c is first type to provide power in both directions

Infact I know lightning don't since I have a lightning external pack most of the time plugged in in the car. Infact to the same aux to USB adapter.

Glad you found and fixed the problem.
Because from your original post, I would of never come to that conclusion.
