My 6 month old Prius w/solar sun roof (a replacement for my Prius that was destroyed by Sandy) was rear ended while parked. I had it fixed, it looks beautiful again, but I have 2 questions please:
    1. I noticed that the passenger side rear "porthole" (sorry if that's not the correct term) has defrosting wires on it, while the driver side one doesn't. Is this correct?
    2. The rear view camera now shows the top of the bumper, which I find much improved over the way I received the car, where it showed nothing. Now I have a reference for where the car actually is. Which is the correct view--bumper or not?
    Thanks!

On my Liftback, I see the bumper as well.

The wires missing are normal. I'm guessing since that's the only window you can actually see out of. (Kind of difficult to see out the driver one from the driver seat)

Yes, I see the bumper on mine. Perhaps it wasn't aligned correctly from factory.

It's the opposite. Wires are on the passenger's side, not driver's. But they're actually in-glass antenna strips (to improve reception), not defroster wires. The 2010-11 does not have them.

So what's the antenna on the top for? or is it a diversity antenna (Both work together)?

Top is primary. In-glass is secondary to improve reception.

Wow, very interesting. I thought perhaps since the driver can see out of that window, that's why there are defroster wires. But it's really an antenna! Thanks.

Yes, the base of the antenna is for Sirus/XM. The screw-on part that sticks up is for AM/FM.
