That may be why they are so bright. Maybe I need to put an H 16 in there and save these for the headlights. I am telling you, these I got are too bright for in town use unless there is a lot of fog. Maybe why they are called "fog lights". Mine should not be used as driving lights. Interesting. Never had a fog light on a car that was too bright before. I am interested in what others think about this kit.

The H11 bulb is 55w, the H16 bulb is only 35w so there will be a difference.

That makes sense. Wonder why they put 55 watt lights in this package? I am not complaining. When the fog comes, hey, I am ready.
Heading to Pigeon Forge in the morning. Maybe I will see some fog.;)

So your kit has the H11 bulbs?

Great, I ordered a high end vled h16 bulb and of course it sounds like it was not correct?. Are h11 and h16 interchangeable - just a different output rating? Seems odd that they would have a different bulb # for output.

    They are not interchangeable.

    H11 has this connector:

While the H16 bulb has this one:

It looks like the connector "might" work, but the bulb won't mount into the H11 slot.

Thanks ztanos - I guess ironically the sylvania link steered me wrong. For others reading at the end, validate the bulb in your kit, do not use an online lookup tool. ;) I am now out 60 bucks.

I don't know about aftermarket kit of your fog lights but in my C4 I'm using H11 HID in them.

That link is great for factory setups... it can't verify aftermarket. But look on the bright side. You should be able to sell your set to someone on the forum.

I just bought this kit, hopefully the install is not too bad as it's my first attempt at modifying a car. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll try to get to it this weekend or next.

Should be easy peasy... the hardest part will be deciding where to mount the ballasts.

Just ordered this kit, hopefully it's pretty straight forward. seems like most of it is just running the wires, zip tying, and tapping 2 wires for the switch.

It is simple to hook up per the instructions, which is how I did it. Many have varied but I wanted it like the instructions did it. If you have any trouble hollar. I can give you my email address.
Just ordered the automatic headlight sensor. Will be really happy to get it installed. I hate turning on the lights or forgetting to sometimes. Maybe it will be straight forward hookup also.

anyone tried the fog light kit for the 2013 prius c model yet? or think that it'll fit in the 2013 c model's fog light housing?

Got the kit today. Looks pretty good. Will have to spend some time mocking this up before installing. There's quite a bit of wire routing.

There looks to be a vent on the back of the fog light housing that is plugged up but I kept it in since I didn't see anything about removing it.

Also put some yellow h11s in there for that extra ricer look that I like. IMG_2127.JPG IMG_2128.JPG IMG_2130.JPG IMG_2131.JPG IMG_2132.JPG IMG_2133.JPG

IMG_2164.JPG I read through the manual a few times and have a pretty good understanding.

Installed the fogs into the bezels already but not yet on the car.

Question: It comes with a pack of 4 phillips screws. Installing the fog lights into the housing only required one each, total 2. What are the other 2 for?

I had two extra also. Not sure why. I put the on/off switch in the hole where instructions said, closest to steering wheel. Can't see it. Yesterday I moved it to the one next to the door while installing my automatic headlight module.

How is the automatic headlight module? Was it simple to install? This (and pulling up hills with little effort) are the only two things I miss from my Corolla Matrix
