    As the title implies.
Had to get a tow because I wasn't sure what happened.
Airbag deployed for the driver, steering wheel and knee, nothing else.
Only have liability, collision center said to take it home.
Couldnt move the thing, was able to push into neutral.
The car's horn is beeping quietly but at a fast pace.

Once towed at home, I disconnected the battery for about 1 minute. Was able to reverse it. Front bumper is jacked, hood and luckily turn signals and lights intact.

Thinking of trading it it lol but idk what I'll get with the airbags deployed for the driver.

Thing is.... I may drive it jacked with Bungie cords, and replace the $300 hood.

Problem is that after I removed the battery I was able to drive the machine with some warnings. But it still does the quick light beeps for the horn. .

    sorry to see it!

don't you get a salvage title if the airbags go off?

if everything works, i would clean it up and keep driving

Don't look too bad from the picture, but won't know until seeing under the hood..
Air bags can be replaced, and the horn may have a short cause by collision. Check wiring to horn... Good luck!

Airbag deployment suggests more damage than just the hood damage we can see in the picture.

If you're still on the original engine battery pack brake booster accumulator ABS controller radio shocks and struts then it probably won't be worth fixing because you still have an uphill battle on all that stuff after you do the body work. You might do better parting it out

Technically airbag deployment means there was a very sudden (negative) acceleration. But it is possible that the energy was dissipated evenly enough across enough cheap body metal that you won't wind up replacing that many technical parts other than the airbags.

From the length of scratches on the hood, it's obvious that some of the impact energy was used to lift up the back of the semi and compress the front springs on your car. That's in your favor in terms of repairability.

Good luck and glad you're ok!

Since no one is willing to ask, what caused you to slam into the semi truck?
