Slip indicator light keeps going off

    So when I was driving in the inner city yesterday I hit a couple of bumps and this light came on and then turned off right after

    I'd never experienced this before

    Just happened again on a road I've been driving on with this car for months

    What I want to know is is this a symptom of anything failing or going seriously wrong?

    Our Gen 2 flashes that light driving over what seems to be a permanent metal plate on one of the streets in our neighborhood. It is right before a stop sign, so I have my foot pressing lightly on the brake. Momentarily, I sense a loss of braking function, but now that I'm prepared for it, I just keep the same pressure on the brake pedal and come to a smooth stop. I have been led to believe this is totally normal behavior for this car and nothing to worry about.
