smart key battery drain

    The Altoids can would surely work. I noticed very soon after getting my Prius that my FOB will not function to unlock the door in smart mode if the FOB is in the same pocket as my Iphone. I can put the phone in the opposite pocket and it works fine.
    I replaced my battery with one off Ebay in Dec 2013, it started acting odd today (not unlocking when I touched the door handle) so I replaced with a new Duracell and it seems to be OK now. The location I have been staying at for the last month is a lot closer to the car than my home location. But still a lot more than 3 feet. I think my problem was cheap batteries.
