    Hi guys.

Just wanted to show off my new fog bulbs.

I wanted the crisp white look of hids but without going down that route. So I ordered some LED replacements from eBay for only £5.96 delivered! ($8.50-9 roughly). They said the light colour was 6000k but at that cheap price I wasn't holding my breath.

Anyhow, they arrived! Fitting was very straight forward thanks to priuschat! The colour is just what I was looking for and matches my LED sidelights great! I changed them more for aesthetic purposes than anything. Makes a nice cheap mod for someone...

Now it makes my standard halogen main bulbs look pants (last pic) so have already lined up a hid kit for them. Excuse the crappy phone photos.

First pic, one side has standard bulb and the other has the SMD LED bulb

Nice! Can you show us the light output against a wall/garage door or the beam pattern on the ground?

If it matters, you forgot to blank out your plate in the last photo :).

Anyway, looking good! How's the heat? The halogens were notorious for the amount of heat they produced (and subsequently led to cracked lenses).

I tried the LED bulbs in my fogs, but they werent bright enough.

My fogs have some kind of deflector or shield in them that disperses the light, which made the LED bulbs kind of useless. I just re-installed Silverstar Ultras but would like to remove whatever that thing is in there so the fogs are actually useful!

Yup, just a quick exchange of the bulbs and away you go. One of the cheapest mods you can do for maximum effect I reckon!

I'm not bothered about light output on the fog lights the amount of times we actually get thick fog in the uk is minimal
