    What would you think those specks are (were)? Maybe it was parked outside, industrial area? A lot... Any evidence of previous wax jobs, say water beading?

    That’s what the front fender on my Tacoma looked like after my wife didn’t think twice about spraying sunblock on the kids right next to my truck. It took three sessions with the clay bar to remove everything.
