1997 toyota 4Runner limited 2wd, gets 20-21 MPG on every tank with a V6....Bought it new, and it has 213,000 miles and I am selling it due to the fact I bought the Prius.

Wife drives a 2004 4Runner 2wd that gets 20 MPG with 76,000 miles on it... Hopefully we will get her in a Camry Hybrid soon!

I know what you mean. My Prius was my first brand new car since '78. I had bought our other new car for my wife. It's not the same as YOUR new car. Good luck & enjoy.

:D :D :D <-- Your expression when you get yours (same as mine after 3 months)

    BTW My other cars
'95 Dodge Dakota - for backup, projects, and camping.
    '01 Rav4 - Wife's car

I'm in the process of buying a '93 Toyota SR5 king cab 4X4 pickup which is located in Cotonou, Benin (West-Africa), where I'm fixing to move for 2 years in January. From what I gather only the main roads are paved in that country, and the rest of the roads are dirt roads that essentially turn to mud during the rainy seasons, so a 4X4 vehicle is pretty much required.

It is already breaking my heart that I will have to sell Prissy, but unfortunately such a car is just not suitable for that part of the world

    :-(

my other modes of transportation are a 2006 ranger 4x4...need it for snow travel...we have way too much snow in winter around here for just prius alone...when you have to be at work, come blizzard or not...,the 4x4 works... but prius now has 50000miles while truck has 7000 miles...so the majority of time...the prius is the only way to go...
now if i need to get somewhere fast...i get the cessna skyhawk out ........

I normally drive the 2006 Prius.

The other car, which I only get to drive once in a blue moon is a 2002 Miata SE which my wife is in love with.

Works out great because I love the Prius.

Picked up just last week a 2006 Toyota Yaris in burnt orange.
    Actually my wife's car.

This replaces our 2000 Corrola CE, which was an excellent car. My Prius replaces my Sienna.

Other cars are a 1973 Pinto given me by my Mom on my 16th birthday, and which I've owned ever since, and a '96 RAV-4.

I also just finished fabricating a barstool racer. Powered by a highly modified Honda 200cc engine, has a disc brake and this cute little bicycle bell on the handlebars.

And of course, I can't forget my '83 Puch Newport II Moped. I'm the original owner, and the bike still runs (although it's now followed by a billowing cloud of two-cycle oil smoke).

I'm really popular with the Moped Army in SF.

My primary vehicle is a 1961 humanoid. Next up are a pair of basketball shoes that say 'Andi' on the bottom. (Remember Toy Story? Maybe I'm not real after all.) Then comes a Devinci Chameleon with monster tires that make it sound like a 4x4 with mud boots. Then, last but not least, there's Silver.
