    So I’ve got a small shop that’s near a sushi restaurant whose owner is a friend. We’ve done a few meets there before calling it cars and sushi. Maybe we can do one of these for local Prius owners?

    Nice, looks like there’s some interest in this. I just got a bunch of wisdom teeth pulled so I might be down for a day or two, but as soon as I get back I’ll see if we can get a tentative date going.

    Hey guys, just a quick update. I spoke to my buddy and he’s definitely down for this. I didn’t set a date though as recently I’ve been swamped trying to fix my Prius. It broke down while driving to work one day and I got the “check hybrid system” error. Haven’t had any luck fixing it.

    Would any of you guys have a recommendation for a local mechanic or shop that could help take a look?

    Actually ended up finding a mobile Prius tech that came by. Figured out it was a weak fuel pump and the recommendation is to keep the gas tank above about three bars. And of course change out the fuel pump when we can. I’ve never seen this before.

    We basically added 5 gallons of gas or so and it started right up!
