    Just recently I had no chance of following a Porsche on a rather steep 1300 feet climb. But it was fun at least until the battery was empty.

    It was even more fun to
    1) fill the battery completely during the following descent
    2) use no gasoline at all for the next 20 miles

    Despite of flooring the pedal twice (I did it again on the way back) I had more than 60 mpg for the whole roundtrip.
