I really like the photos! I really think the displays are really well laid out. If they put that kind of display pkg in the Gen IV Prius, whenever they make their debut, I would jump on it!
Is the MPG display a lifetime avg or how does that work? 250 MPG is a nice number!

PS, yeah the photos were big, once I got my screen readjusted, I was impressed!

7k off plus the tax credit? That is a pretty nice deal. I have a friend who is quite interested, I have to tell them that if they are willing to have a giant sticker on the side they might be able to save 7k.

Have a Volt on loan from the dealer. Must admit it is awesome. I have had it for 32 hours and everyone has driven it feels the same way. Very smooth quiet and fun to accelerate.

That's how it start. A test drive. The feel of EV power with efficiency. Cheating turns to llove and then commitment/ownership. Then you might have to change your name on the site;-)

If you have not tried sport mode + L, you should do that before you return it. (Note sport is just a remapping of the accelerator pedal. Its not actually providing more power, just a better mapping for the pedal.)

So you paid about 30k? Not bad. I paid that for my 08, and I got a good deal at the time, YOU however got a great deal. especially now with $5 a gallon! I offered to give my Prius to my wife last night, and I would get a Volt...... she just looked stunned, in a negative way. Gotta work on this one.... Thanks for posting the sticker, makes for an interesting read. They kind of nickle and dime you, on options but you killed that number!
That display system really grabs my eye, reading over the sticker I was wondering in CARB states is the battery warranty extended to the 150k miles as the Prius battery is?
    Keep posting!

Yep, 30K is a good price. (About what I paid after fed and state credits).

Yes the Volt's battery warranty is extended for CA. I've not hear for sure in other states that follow CARB.

I have not purchased a volt b/c it doesn't fulfill my needs for a vehicle, and I am not in the market right now, but I had to drive one of course and man you are right about the sport mode + L. It is very fun to drive that way.

They have to if they want the sticker.

However nothing says the warranty has to be the same. I am waiting quite anxiously to see if they change the warranty language. Right now despite what some want to believe the warranty is quite specific and good to 8 years. I imagine all they will do is change the warranty to have weasel room and then say it has a 10yr/150k warranty.

He-He........me too.......although we kept the Prius. They seem to get along OK close to each other in the garage.

My Prius doesn't seem to mind the idea of a test drive, even if it is a newer, younger model. My wife, on the other hand....

    Your poor lifetime mpg!

Was the dealer giving test drives without charging it up? Or did you have to travel far to pick it up?
