Well probably more lazy than dumb. The 2 year 25k mile included service.

How many oil changes does this equate to? I read that for synthetic they will provide inclusive changes every 10k miles, Dino oil every 5k miles.

Wife had her first inclusive service at 8.2k miles September 2016. She keeps insisting it's due again as she gets those emails ( spam) from main dealer and windshield sticker. I'm thinking her next inclusive change will be at 18,2k miles or September 2017 whichever is sooner? Assuming dealer wants one in between to charge her?
I logged onto my Toyota and it stated synthetic was used.

    Cheers

I think 2 oil changes. I don't think asking for conventional oil is going to change that number, if that's what you were thinking.

2 oil changes. First at 10k and second at 20k. Tire rotation every 5k.

If you drive under special conditions more than half the time (towing, hauling, dirt/dusty roads, extensive idling, taxi service, door to door service, and/or under 32 degrees F) then you would want to change the oil every 5k.

Using any other oil weight is highly not recommended and could void your warranty.

I have 3rd gen customers with over 200k sticking to their 0W20 oil changes every 10k.

the very pages you cite show 10,000 and 20,000.

Also the Gen 4 starts threatening you with 5,000 mile oil changes at 15,000 miles if you used the wrong oil, as they know the dealer can't be trusted to do the right thing.

So effectively she is "entitled" to being seen to for tire rotations and checks every 5k miles and every 10k miles the inclusive oil change?

Even with the gen 4 it wants the dealer to check the floor mats?? I thought they would have learned how to install them by now lol. Screen Shot 2017-02-09 at 6.08.32 PM.png

Just in case you or someone else was just washing the car or vacuuming and did not reinstall the carpets correctly. And if you're stacking mats, we remove the top one and put it in your trunk.

The floor mat check is completely missing from the Canadian schedule. Replaced with transaxle fluid changes. Just kidding, that last bit.

Why only the driver's floor mat though? Are the passengers expendable?

My #1 passenger only needs a brake pedal. I laugh everytime I see her foot stab the floor when I'm not braking quickly enough. :ROFLMAO:

IIRC, the drivers mat check is tied into unexpected-acceleration controversy in the States: there was suspicion it was moving forward, jamming gas pedal somehow.

Similar problems arose in UK back in early 21st century and probably still do. Happened to me a few times in a 1999 car. A great remedy for constipation! :ROFLMAO:
