Sort phonebook by last name?

Over lunch I managed to sync my Blackberry contact list into the phonebook of my new Prius. I noticed that the phonebook was sorted by the contact's first name (so Adam Z. is the first name in the list). Then I realized that that's how I have them sorted in the Blackberry, so I sorted the Blackberry by last name, deleted all of the contacts in the Prius phonebook, and re-synced the BB to the car. They're still sorted by first name.

Is there any way or option to sort the phonebook by last name?
