mrs b and i got our first senior citizen flu shots yesterday morning. she's been mostly fine with some arm soreness, i went into full immune late in the afternoon. chills, aches, loss of appetite, etc.

went to bed early, and slept for 12 hours, i had to drag myself out of bed.

tonight, the chills and aches are gone, but a stomach ache, brain fog and dizzyness have set in, and my appetite hasn't returned.

this is what happened after the second shingles shot, and that lasted almost a week. hoping for a shorter time frame on this one.
i never had any reaction at all to the regular shot in the past.

 

@bisco, as bad as it surely seemed, this was not 'full immune'. Check in with your real medical people. They may have some suggestions beyond the venerable 'tough it out'.

 

thanks, i'm feeling better today, just a little week. hopefully, it's almost over. i haven't eaten much, so that's probably part of the problem.
i will definitely ask my doc next year about post shot suggestions!
