So I had a leaky valve cover gasket and decided to take on changing it out, at 279k miles I gave it my best DIY. It all went great except the spark plug gaskets seem to be REALLY well seated in the valve cover. I got the 1st one out but getting the new one in was nearly impossible with out damaging it. So I didn’t change the others, I put it all back together and she fired right up but now smokes and rattles. So I’m guessing I have oil leaking onto the spark plug. So how do you change the spark plug seals/gaskets that are mounted to the valve cover?
