spark plug replacement

    I had a bike with spark plug wells that would collect a lot of crud. I took one of the plugs out, very carefully, then hacksawed just the threads of the plug off, glued that to a long/slim wooden dowel, reached it in carefully, screwed it back in. Then I was able to blast away with compressed air, clear the crud out, without spilling it into the cylinder.

    You could do this with the just the plug in place, actually not a bad idea, but the broader shoulders of the full spark plug impedes the compressed air blast. This is worth doing if you've got a real mess.
