Is that 150,000 km? Overall they look fairly good. Denso makes high quality plugs.

We have a 2011 Lexus rx450h with 186,000 miles and it’s original denso plugs. Funny enough Lexus never calls to change them, only “check them”. I will change them before too long :)

The only thing that makes me think they aren’t, not very much carbon build up like you you’d expect with a plug that old.

Those plugs don't look to be original, especially the first picture where the plug looks practically new

There's no buiild up on it, no carbon like the other 2 plugs. The threads are also really clean. It seems odd you would have this new looking plug, like the previously owner replaced this one plug because there may have been a misfire at some point

No, he is not saying that.
    Yes, in his opinion.
He is not making any comment on whether or not they are genuine Densos.
    No.

That one plug is new. So someone was most likely chasing a misfire in that cylinder. Then sold the car. Not surprising. No one sells a perfectly running G2. Owners keep these cars till they start getting really high miles and very needy or engine eats alot of oil or hybrid battery condemned at the dealer.
    Next owner shows up here.

    Misfire:
    Bad plug
    Bad coil on plug
Worse case scenario is random misfire moving around from cylinder to cylinder. This is caused by engine ran dry of oil as owner never knew it was eating oil bad since not involved with oil changes and never ever not once checked the oil themselves. this sometimes damages the bearing bottom end of the motor creating some sub sonic vibration which disturbs the pg/fg signal from the crank and cam sensors. Revolutions don’t compute so engine ecu throws a misfire. Seen many a g2 motor throw a rod usually cylinder #2 or 3.
The worst is having your car oil changed service at the dealer. These people have never checked there oil not once and could care less.
Why should they it’s Dealer Serviced whoopie!

I don’t think your car is that bad the other plugs look very good but too good for 150000 miles on them.
But you don’t show the porcelain top of the plug. Let’s see how burnt that part is or if oil stained. If perfectly white those are new plugs.

Maybe tell a bit about my car...
    year 2007
I love it...runs without any problems and smooth...perfectly running car
    51 Mpg in summertime,...now 45 mpg..
    Bought it from first owner
    149.000 miles
    maintenance booklets
maintenance last 10 years at toyota garage, before dealer
    bone dry, no rust
    no oil consumption
hybrid battery like new...while driving all cells > 17 V
    Auxillary battery 12 V ..while driving all cells > 14 V
you´re right, thats not to bad...

I try to make some pictures porcelain top of the plug..but u can see white...well first 2 for sure.

    Thank you

cool good luck. keep after the maintenance.

Make sure you have a newer water pump belt. That fails you will never know until you see a thermometer icon on the dash telling you the engine has over heated which for an aluminum head engine is very bad. You cannot tell if its cracked until you take it off.

Best $7 you will ever spend.

Its a good idea to have a spare real toyota inverter pump on hand. They fail all the time.Mine just failed the other day did not realize I had put 100,000 miles on it since it was replace years ago under recall. There $86 on line at Olathe Toyota.
Really common failure. You can see how its doing by opening the cap on the inverter reservoir while the car is ready get a flashlight and look in there. You should see fairly good movement of the fluid in there. If its just a tepid movement the pump is tired or may have the original inverter fluid.

Want to get a bump in mpg's? Replace the inverter coolant. The car loves that.

Interesting! How does the new coolant help economy?

Mine is probably overdue to be changed. Yikes

Cooler the Inverter the better it runs. If you have an IR thermometer do a before and after on the temp of the inverter.

Try it see what you think. Just make sure all the air is bled out and you have good turbulence in the reservoir.

    I also use this stuff:

Amazon.com: Customer reviews: Red Line (80204) Water Wetter - Coolant Additives - 12 Oz Bottle

many racers just use water & this stuff. It really works. Been using it in my g2 for about 12 years. I think its why i see such aggressive turbulence in the reservoir.

My car is a great test bed I bought it new have owned it 13 years its highly maintained and any change in its performance whether better or worse is easily noted.

I just started my car and looked inside the reservoir and dont notice any movement at all...
No warning lights and throws no code...
    to be continued...

May be the wrong reservoir. It’s the one right next to the inverter which is the the big square aluminum box on the right. The inverter reservoir is to the left of that touching it with the black screw on cap.

Car has to be started to turn the pump on.

when we say make the car ready that means the car is started and the word
    READY shows on the dash.

theydid that cause sometimes the engine does not turn on when you start it so then you know the car us really on you can drive away.

There must be some movement of that fluid it may be so poor you can hardly see it move. That means the pump is ready to go.

mine looks like it’s boiling it has so much turbulence.

    The pump is behind the
Drivers side headlight right below it, it’s round and it makes a soft whine noise like an aquarium pump, has 2 black hoses to it one in one out.
