Speaker Replacement 2010 Prius

    Hello Prius Chat! Been a reader for a while, this will be my first post.
    Has anyone ever replaced the factory speakers in the 2010 or similar model? I have the base audio setup, gen II I believe. No touch screen, no Bluetooth, nothing fancy. Speakers still work, but I want to replace the stock speakers and head unit but from research, replacing a hybrid head unit seems like a headache. So, if I were to replace just the speakers, does anyone have any recommendations? Component speakers of full range? Thanks in advance for any help!

    you will have to drill some rivets out & replace them with screws/

    crutch field has on line and tel help. they should be able to walk you through it. it has been reported that upgrading the front door speakers for $100. makes a world of difference. ymmv.
