The wheels look like MOMO wheels for old Ferraris

I like the more aggressive front end, maybe help end some of the "gay car" BS. The styling is pretty consistent with the Mirai and other new models coming out. Seems they're trying to make it not quite as distinctive and integrate it more into the lineup.

When I took my car in for its first service, I did an honest survey after my service appointment. Later that evening, I received an email from the manager of the dealership stating that since I wasn't satisfied with their service, to take my vehicle elsewhere the next time. I called BMW North America, and even sent them the email; they didn't care one bit. Most people don't believe I went from a 335i coupe to a Prius, but that's when I decided to sell my BMW...

I like it a lot. My only concern is the rear headroom for my 6'-3" son. If he fits, I'm completely happy with it!

That fluting actually reduces the drag in the rear by drawing the airstream around the corner. It is an old aerodynamics trick that helps increase fuel economy.

can the OP or a moderator add a survey on the post? "Like it, yes or no"?

I wonder how this car will work out as a TAXI, the rear roofline is so low

Having owned a 2nd-gen Ford Probe ('93), I can say this reminds me a LOT of the 1st gen Probe (89-92)! Can't wait for the reveal in a few short weeks!

You're welcome to start a new thread if you'd like! Given that this thread is 5 pages long, it's a bit too established to modify at this stage.

Ok, now fasten your seatbelts for the comments!

I think we should hold a referendum in November in order to reach consensus..!

Right, because aesthetic preferences are always black and white.

When I heard about Prius I was immediately a fan, but waited for Camry version. But when it came somehow I realized Prius was the only Prius.

I don't see a problem with 2016 so far. I like that the feared Darth Vader front look is not there ...almost looks like my Gen2 avitar up front ...I need to find a new cartoon character to describe it...a little bit David Niven, still on the mean side though

Is no one gonna comment on the two dots seen at the ends of the moustache-like upper grille?

Front end does look good, an advance from gen3, was also worried about the Mirai or a big mouth. Hope the C pillar is glass and provides some useful visibility, not a fan of faux glass or grills. Hope the lights make sense for LEDs, not fan of over-sized (gen3) or over elongated for no function. The real beauty for Prius is the function. Maybe bonus standard 4wd or new performance capability.

    The mullet of hybrids.

At first blush, it looks like a boring sedan. I don't want a boring sedan, but I'll hold off until I can see it in person. For me, it's going to need to hold two big greyhounds (retired racers, not buses!) comfortably in the back with the seats down like my 2004 does.

:eek:Much worse than what I hoped for. Good news, hopefully my 2012 Prius Plug In Advance will hold more value as a older Prius. My first thought before reading the same comments, I thought the 2016 Prius favored the old Ford Probe which wasn't one of my favorites. Regardless of current gas prices, there will always be room for super fuel efficient Priis, and cars like them. My daily driver is now a BMW 13 BEV, with my Prius PIP as a alternate. My choice of vehicles are now EVs. My i3 is a fantastic vehicle. Sorry that Toyota didn't favor a EV in their line up. Not happy with design of the current Camry, Corolla, or projected 2016 Prius. Sorry Toyota, but I'm thinking way outside the Toyota box.
