SRS airbag sometimes on sometimes off

    So my 2007 prius shows the airbag warning light sometimes, but not always, it disappears randomly (on startup) but again, not always, it sometimes stays there. the car is in near perfect shape

    Handily, I think the airbag computer in Gen 2 is one of those that you can trigger with a simple jumper wire to blink the trouble codes out for you on the dash light, no special code reader needed. That will tell you what it thinks is out of whack.

    Have you looked up how to read the trouble codes and tried that? The airbag computer will be happy to tell you what problems to look for, if you ask. There is little point in guessing.
