Hate to be late to the party. Couldn't help but notice in the installs no one mentioned disconnecting the neg terminal of the battery. I noticed Stage 10 says to do that. Are you guys doing that as a no-brainer or is it not that nevessary?

Noticed the Stage 10 instructions say to disconnect the battery terminal before doing this install yet no one mentions that. Is that necessary to do?

I don't think so but all electronics manufacturers recommend disconnecting power when performing any electrical connection changes. It's a basic safety rule. I don't often follow it though. :)

All you really need to do is make sure no power is going to the unit at the time. This mean DO NOT TURN ON YOUR CAR!!!!!

The only difference I can see (other than the customizable colors) is that the OGS model doesn't have the cool car outline;). They only show a silver OGS, perhaps another difference is that the stage10 model is available in black/carbon-fiber (much better looking, IMHO).

The OGS also comes in a matte black which I prefer and am quite happy with.

I have the Garax shifter and it comes in matte black as well and matches the interior perfect. I think they are all made at the same place, just different face plates.

Oh..that's nice! Little trick I learned to get the letters to match the green of the dash. Unscrew the 3 screws in the back and you will have access to the white letters that pop in and out. Go to Staples and buy the lightest green BIC Mark It (exact ones in picture attached) and color in the back of the white letters. Then change the shifter color to yellow on the dimmest setting and it is a dead match! :)

I was wondering, has anyone had a change of heart, gone back to the stock shifter after using the electronic shifter?

Tracksyde, Can you tell me if the cover comes off, so that if someone wanted they could paint and change color?

I would think it can come apart. But I haven't looked at it that closely or tried myself. There was a thread here where someone opened up their OGS shifter to try to swap the button positions. There was a picture of the shifter with the "top"off, if I recall correctly.

Went through all 11 pages and didn't see anything about voiding the warranty, anyone had any problems with the dealership when brought in for service under the 2-year maintenance or any other warranty??
