Steering not Returning Issue

    2010 Prius doesn't return to center after turning right. It is drastic so I believe it isn't an alignment issue. I have return it to center myself.

    Also, which is probably connected to the steering issue, while driving the car if I gently move the steering wheel to the right I hear a humming/vibration in the left wheel. Basically as the car shifts its weight based on steering input there is a humming noise. No snapping/cracking noises when going over bumps either.

    Now I know what you might be thinking.... Wheel bearing......

    I replaced the wheel bearing and that didn't make a difference. I also have new tires and a recent alignment.

    Any ideas?? I'd like to have some knowledge before I take it to a shop....

    Why do I always see the "how many miles q"? What does that has to do with it?

    I'm gleaning towards your electric steering rack. Especially, the power steering electric motor.

    Asides that, have you taken a look at the tierods, to see if they're stuck?

    the older and more miles, the more suspects that may be likely.
