    Hello,

My prius, purchased with 200,000 miles has an issue with the steering wheel. Nothing big, however, I am curious if there is a simple fix?

The defrost buttons on the right of the steering wheel will not work. The stereo and temperature increase and decrease buttons on the left work just fine.

Is this something as simple as a fuse, or is it something more as in worn out buttons?

OK, thank you for your time and suggestions. It is greatly appreciated.

    Kevin.

It sure sounds like the "clockspring", also known as the spiral cable. There are some good threads on that.

Next thing to go will probably be the cruise control.
