At one point, the dealership I service frequently services Prius cabs. I don't know if they sold those same vehicles to them.

Finally! Spotted a Blizzard Pearl Prime today at Park and Preston. They may have been going to Trader Joe's... My faith in humanity has been restored. (although I miss the gumdrop emoji, now this phone got the Android Oreo update)

They are pretty rare here too, but not that rare. I still have not seen a Prime though,

Bleeding edge? It's a 2 year old Nexus 6P. One of the best phones I've ever bought, although I've got to find a Huawei shop around here to put a new battery in it. Shouldn't be hard, their NA HQ is in also in Legacy West.

All hell will break loose if Amazon 2 comes to Plano. Or McKinney. Or anywhere in Collin, Denton, or Dallas Counties.

Which part resores your faith? The Prime sighting, or the T.J.'s? Please say it was both. (y)

Both, of course. Thankfully, Trader Joe's opened in Texas a few years ago. Don't think I could endure this vast wilderness without TJ's and Aldi. Groceries are expensive here.

It happened and very unexpected. I had barrowed my dad's pick up and was parking it in front of the house. Got out and was letting traffic pass before crossing the street. One car went by and the 2nd when I looked up and saw the back end of the 2nd car. It was a Prime...white with Kansas plates. In my little town of 9,000 on a good day. Right in front of my childhood home. Last place I ever expected to see a Prime. So they do exist.

There is In n Out (meh, I prefer Steak 'n Shake, but I'd love to see Good Times, but I don't think they've ever ventured outside Denver). Heard there's a Sees Candies, I think it's in Legacy West.

I'm disappointed I haven't seen more Primes, but I chalk that up to stealership stupidity.

Drove home behind 2 Dumbass monster trucks yesterday. Those things have never carried a load of anything but hot air.

Yeah in my part of the country it's Stupid Useless Vehicles, Trucks, Teslas, and Prii everywhere, with a sprinkling of (still COMPLETELY unadvertised!) Primes!! How the hell are people finding out about these!!
If Toyota manufactured only Primes, AND advertised them, the U.S. would turn into a Prime country. I can see it now: Prime SUV's, Prime trucks, Prime Limos, oh, a few Prime sedans, and where the hell are the Prime Superleggera Coupes!!??
I think I've been watching too many episodes of Family Guy!

Steak and shake is solid, and cheap too. Not really a big in and out fan either. And there a lot of those trucks around where we live. You know, because of all the dirt roads and wilderness in plano.

Update on the Prime I 1st spotted on Thanksgiving in my home town. My 1st spotting of a Prime.

I saw it again parked in the parking lot of the Lied Lodge in town. Noticed it then everyday since. Always in a different spot in the parking lot as I did my morning walk. Today I was finishing up my walk on the highway and it passed me going out of town. So for 4 days I had the pleasure of seeing a Prime in the wild...even though it was the same Prime each day. The car looks sharp going down the road. Only wish I could have caught the owner to chat with him/her.

Is the frustration with availability of the car, or something else?

On the 4Runner forums, we had a simple card we could print that basically said "Your vehicle has been spotted by a member of sitename.com." No names, etc., no pressure, nothing weird, just a curiosity factor to spur visits.

It worked well on modified specialty vehicles. I'm not sure how well it would work on cars, even rare ones like Primes.
