    Wth! Wow it’s getting crazy out there. 2 cars have been stolen in areas of OC this week that I personally know of.....

    wow, l a and london crime centers. amazing ny doesn't get more play. maybe fewer prius there.

    toyota has to do something to get these parts prices down so they are not so desirable

    Apparently it was parked on the street and it happened overnight. It probably took them a long time to remove them.

    Should be covered by comprehensive portion of the policy if he had it covered. If I am living in LA, I won't live without it.

    They got the Dash MFD too!! Look at the first pic!

    Looks like it just snapped out & unplugged. I wonder if it was an 11" display.

    Lock the car up in a secured garage. Or lock the all perpetrators up in a jail. I think former is easier. :p

    Looks like this guy is a tenant in a house and only has street parking.

    Jail !? Noooo.. It’s California. If they arrest the guy they will give him a mani /pedi and apologize for the inconvenience and release him in a hour.

    FYI

    The victims have insurance but the body shop came up with a estimate for $25,000 ++. So as mentioned before the insurance will probably total the car. But they may owe more than the car is worth.

    All my sympathy to the owner of the car. Gap insurance. I must have if I move to LA.. Then again, I will never survive in LA traffic.
