Strange Braking Sound Persists after Brakes Fixed

    @Jerry Bleecker , further to @bisco's "X pattern", if you can: do try raising the rear and see how free spinning the wheels are. You can even do it one side at a time, with the scissor jack, in a pinch.

    Thanks for all your suggestions. I’ve been out of country for a bit before having the car serviced again. I took the car to the dealer. The rear brakes had loose pads and an odd exposed and somewhat sheared bolt they ground down...?

    Sound appears gone as I haven’t heard it in a week now

    I remember when I lubed up the caliper pins on all the brakes. The rear brakes had these metal clips loose on the drivers side. I had minor clicking sound when braked at lower speeds. Once I lubed up the pins put the metal guides in correctly the noise went away. Laying on top of the pads. Got the screenshot from NutzandBolts youtube video.

    It's a good idea to either take photos or video of your work if you don't do this often.
    And only work on one side at a time. So you can look at the other side as reference.
    I'm happy you have everything up and running correctly!
