Strut compatibility between years and trim

    We have a 2014 Plug in and a 2015 non-Plug in that both maybe in need of strut replacement. Are the GEN3 struts parts all compatible? I see complete new OEM sets for front and back for 2010-2011s, would they work on both cars?

    BTW, I'm thinking shocks since the ride is quite a bit more rumbly than before and jolts and clunks over bumps. I've checked the tie rods, sway bar and shock related bits and all seems tight. Both shock bodies are dry as well. Tires are inflated correctly and they were rotated and balanced not too long ago. Anything I may have missed? Interesting they both developed similar symptoms around the 65K mark.
