    I did a minor top up of coolant in both reservoirs, at maybe the 3 year mark. Used Toyota Super Long Life (premixed), really see no reason to use anything else. Levels haven't budged since.

    I do happen to use Toyota 0W20, but oil is oil. I'm getting Toyota oil cheap as dirt too. :)

    I was just curious, ive always only used toyota coolant and fuel, Rumor is other products cause issues. not sure how true it is. other coolant is about half the price, and my oil is around 6$ a quart. i saw costco had their own brand for cheaper. Wasn't sure if you guys recommended a more reliable product. Now that im at 217k and fully paid off, i dont mind using another product:D:LOL:

    For coolant, the only alternative to Toyota-brand seems to be Zerex Asian Car formula. But you'll sleep better using the genuine stuff.

    Oil - - does anyone know of an oil-related problem with the engines in our Priuses? (Well, other than that pool that accumulates at the bottom of the intake, if you don't have a catch can).

    I’m sorry I thought you meant oil, I normally would get gas at ARCO in Cali, now I got to Wawa, Costco, or NEX gas (military gas place)
