Stumped by P0301 and P0302

    I did spray some ether around the general vicinity some time ago thinking there may be a vacuum leak near #1. No such luck. Also used a tube to try to listen for a vacuum leak. Didn't make any difference

    Hello just wondering if you were able to fix the problem. My car sounds exactly the same I have confirmed all my spark plugs and coils are working fine.

    On a 200,000 + mile car misfire's that move around from cylinder to cylinder sometimes reflect engine damage and is mechanical.

    You may want to put the engine in inspection mode and listen to the bottom end of the engine by crawling under the front of the car when the engine is running. In inspection mode the engine runs continuously.

    Go on youtube search

    Prius inspection

    it will show you the chicken dance to get into that mode. harbor Freight sells a real nice mechanics stethoscope. It works great. Probe the engine while running listen for bad lower end sounds and injector firing. Listen for misfires.
    On my car the engine runs very very smoothly in inspection mode.
