Does anyone know if there is a way to ONLY subscribe to the 'Remote connect with digital key'? I don't want or need the other services that are bundled. On my Toyota app, only three choices are listed and the RCwDK always has extra services. Thanks for any help.
Unfortunately, there is not. I also have not been able to find anything like a "subscribe for a full year and get 15% off" sort of thing. Currently I'm doing month-to-month with no auto-renew and just resubscribing when I need it. In the summer when I'm driving somewhere where full directions are nice(including accurate speed limit signage on the gauge cluster), and in the winter if it's cold and I want reliable remote start.
That helps me a lot, I didn't realize you could have it just when you want it (no auto renew). Now I wonder if when I have it turned on, previous digital key users can still access the vehicle without re-issuing them a digital key. Thank you for your help

thanks. My toyota app allows me only to turn the AC on and off, lock doors, start recharging when plugged in and turn on emergency lights (it's there but I never tried it). When i try to unlock the doors, it says it cant be done since the alarm is on, and that would result in it going off. So far I have a feeling we are not talking about the same thing...
After the 1-year "trial" period, Toyota wants $15/month to access the remote start feature - called "Remote Connect". It includes a number of features however the only 1 I really need the convenience of the remote start capability, as I live in Florida and turning on the A/C before entering the car is a nice luxury. There is a way to do this without the subscription! Simply tap the "lock" icon on your key fob 3 times. On the 3rd tap, hold the button down. In a few seconds, the car will flash its lights and the car will start! For FREE!!!
