Sudden death of hybrid battery??

    What does Dr Prius show for block voltages? In particular the "Voltage Diff" value. If you have a typical bad module, then the affected block voltage will be 1.0-1.5V lower than others (often only when the battery is being discharged at 20-30 amps or more). Voltage will go higher than others when charging (such as regen braking).

    If one block has wildly different voltage then it could have a problem with the small wires that connect the HV battery to the battery ecu- or there could be corrosion damage to that connector and the ecu.

    Need more data to be able to advise you.
