Sun roof randomly doesn’t open or close? Just one click sound but then later it works again

    Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I’ve seen others post about it but there didn’t seem to be any replies.



    Also; I decided against the head gasket fix after listening to y’all.

    Not to derail your thread—hopefully someone will be along with advice on the sunroof—but are you saying that you have symptoms of HG failure, and that you received advice here to not fix it?

    If you're referring to this thread, note that EGR circuit cleaning is not the same as a HG fix. The only way to fix a failed/failing HG is to, well, replace it. Cleaning the EGR circuit and intake manifold may be considered preventive maintenance that may extend the life of your HG.
