    It recharged fine and started right up yesterday. My trusting disposition says the problem with the grid charger was a one off thing. Anyhow, the engine starting just fine, gonna proceed with cleaning it up and selling it. I have two Gen 1's, one that I drive and one that sits, not a good thing.
