    Hello everyone,

For starters I’m new here so sorry if this is in the wrong forum (I did spend a good amount of time making sure I picked the right one).

So on to the question. I’m about to pick up a used 2012 Prius in the coming days. I’m interested in doing some customization to it to make it feel a bit nicer. On my list of things I’d like to do is make the steering wheel less ugly. The gen 3 Prius has got to have one of the ugliest steering wheels I’ve ever seen. I was wondering if it would be possible to swap in a gen 4 steering wheel in its place since it looks much better than the gen 3 one. If this isn’t possible does anyone have any suggestions to make it a little more attractive?

    Thanks in advance!

The Gen4 does have a nice one but I can only assume with the updates in tech, it probably wont work. However, there are aftermarket wheels you can purchase. hybridpit.com sells them or even ebay. You keep the same center/horn/airbag cover and controls but the wheel itself gets an update and looks real nice IMO.

Just one option, there are more out there.
