Switched my Prius Prime to Nissan Sentra... and was pleasantly surprised

    Some are better than others. I think it was Honda that tightened up the accuracy of their display after complaints.

    The display is a different measurement than what is calculated from tank measurements. The computer of course knows the speed of the car for the distance part of the calculation. For the fuel used, it is going by the amount of fuel being injected into one cylinder. Since this measurement isn't needed for scientific research, the is system saves processing power by assuming all the other cylinders are getting the same amount of fuel. Which opens up the calculation to error from that assumption.

    Yeah our 06 civic hybrid mpg display was either spot-on, or slightly pessimistic.

    The 2017-2019 Sentra SR turbo or Nismo is the one to get. 188hp / 177tq 1.6 liter turbo charged. Avail with a 6MT or auto CVT. Sporty suspension and still decent gas mileage. That’s the previous generation though.
